In addition to being a great location for your next event, Boyden Farm is a real, working family farm, and has been for the Boyden family for almost 100 years!
The Boyden Farm, true to its heritage, diversifies its farm-based businesses with an emphasis on our slogan: "Know where your food comes from."
We strive to change and adapt our business to keep the farm working, supplying our community with clean, safe, wholesome meats and providing a place to enjoy this fascinating piece of the Earth. Years from now we hope to look back at the sweat, tears and hurdles and know that it was all worth it for the sake of our values and our vision of a true Vermont working farm.
Currently, our farm is mainly concerned with the raising of cattle for our Boyden All-Natural Beef Products, but we're busy year-round also growing organic corn & grains for the animals, as well as the many other tasks before & after harvests (tilling, fertilizing, maintenance, etc.).
In the Winter & Spring we're also busy working in our nearby Sugarbush and harvesting & boiling the sap from our Maple trees to make world-famous Vermont maple Syrup. Across the way, another family member operates a vineyards for their own Boyden Valley Winery.
